Michigan’s Ideal Neighborhood Eats: Rose’s Restaurant has lakeside views, flavorful cuisines in East Grand Rapids

East Grand Rapids, MI — One of the few eating places in West Michigan with dining options right on the h2o, Rose’s Cafe on Reeds Lake gives a large range of food items with a Mediterranean flare.

The restaurant, at 550 Lakeside Dr. SE, sits correct on Reeds Lake and has been in business for above 30 years. The menu functions everything from Italian-encouraged dishes to American classics.

The farro salad is created with broccoli, cabbage, roasted corn, pink onions, dried cranberries, microgreens, marinated tomatoes, feta cheese and sticky chardonnay dressing.

The walleye is served with sautéed kale, swiss chard, sweet corn, sweety fall peppers, caramelized onions, almonds and rosemary-charred aioli on asiago cheese risotto.

A person of the most well-known pizzas is the rooster pesto pizza. For all those searching for a sandwich, Koski endorses the cranberry turkey sandwich, which has smoked turkey, white cheddar cheese, organic greens, cranberry jam and grainy mustard mayo on ciabatta bread.

If you’ve never been to Rose’s before, Koski explained you can’t pass up the Rose’s lemonade cocktail or the butternut squash bisque.
